Rotating brain exercises
Stretching your brain by playing puzzle games is a good thing. It enhances spacial awareness, it develops forward thinking and enhances calmness during frustrating periods.
Starcle is a deceivably complex game in which you use only to controls to arrange sections which are embedded on two circles into a specific pattern.
The support is a sort a disc version of a Rubik's cube. Turning one disc will inevitably pick sections from the other and viceversa. Each disc can be described as having 12 spokes and 6 rims. Of course, having them meld means that half of the spokes can switch their role while passing from one disc to the other. The junction area is where decision is made. Depending on the level you will have a number of highlighted pieces in one or more colors. These need to be reconfigured into a desired pattern. This can vary in difficulty quite a lot since the number of colors used as well as what kind of pieces are relevant can turn an easy job into a seemingly hopeless effort. This game is hard!
Nevertheless the higher the difficulty, the bigger the satisfaction after solving it.
Conclusion
Starcle is a challenging puzzle game that sometimes requires some serious planning. Absolutely recommended for those who are bored of what the market has to offer on a regular basis.
